One of the major concerns regarding presales is non-guaranteed allocation. Even token holders are not sure about getting a share. We want to end it. Everybody should get an allocation, no matter what.
All wallets staking more than 4000 tokens will be eligible for a share in the allocation pool according to their token weight score.
Details of Token weight score: This is a method used to determine as to what is the maximum number of tokens allowed for a wallet (for purchase during presale of projects). It will be based on the weighted score of tokens staked. It will be based on the following parameter.
1. Which pool customer is staking into:
30 days lock pool : 1x
60 days lock pool : 1.5x
90 days lock pool : 2x
180 days lock pool : 4x
2. How many tokens one is staking:
No of tokens being staked by a wallet. If he has invested in more than one pools then calculation will happen on the basis of each pool separately and then the results will be summed up to give final allocation.
For example, a project is launching through Cardence and wants to sell 1,000,000 tokens in their initial raise. 100 Cardence holders have staked a minimum of 4000 tokens.
- 40 Members have staked 1,000,000 tokens in 30 days lock pool. They will get 1x.
- 20 Members have staked 500,000 tokens in 60 days lock pool. They will get 1.5x.
- 30 Members have staked 1,000,000 tokens in 90 days stake pool. They will get 2x.
- 10 Members have staked 500,000 tokens in 180 days pool. They will get 4x.
- Total number of tokens staked = 3,000,000
- Pool weight score
30 days lock participant: 1,000,000 / 3,000,000 * 1 = 0.33
60 days lock participant: 500,000 / 3,000,000 * 1.5 = 0.25
90 days lock participant: 1,000,000 / 3,000,000 * 2 = 0.666
180 days lock participant: 500,000 / 3,000,000 * 4 = 0.666
Sum of pool weight score = 0.333 + 0.25 + 0.666 + 0.666 = 1.915
Assuming that the new project launching has 100K tokens for sale:
No of tokens allocated to 30 days lock participants = No of tokens staked / 1000000 * 0.33/1.915 * No of tokens for sale
No of tokens allocated to 60 days lock participants = No of tokens staked /500000 * 0.25/ 1.915 * No of tokens for sale
No of tokens allocated to 90 days lock participants = No of tokens staked /1000000 * 0.666/ 1.915 * No of tokens for sale
No of tokens allocated to a 180 days participant = No of tokens staked / 500000 * 0.666/ 1.915 * No of tokens for sale
As a general rule,
Pool Weight score = No. of tokens in that pool / Total number of tokens pledged * multiplier ( 1x , 2x or 4x depending on pool )
No of tokens allocated to any participant = (Pool weight score / Sum of pool weight score) * (No of tokens staked by a participant / Total number of tokens in the pool) * No of tokens for sale
Those who have staked less than 4000 tokens won’t be eligible. There may be a second round open to all on a first come first serve basis for tokens which were not claimed. The max cap for this round will be decided on a case-to-case basis.
